# Extensions overview

🧩 App extensions that bring Gift Card Factory into your storefront, checkout, customer accounts, Shopify admin and POS.

Beyond the app dashboard, Gift Card Factory ships a set of **extensions** — building blocks that surface gift card functionality directly where your customers and staff already are: the storefront, the checkout, the new customer accounts, the Shopify admin and the Shopify POS app.

All extensions are installed together with the app. You enable and place each one where it fits your store — no code required. The **Extensions** page in the app lists every one of them with its install status, a short demo video and a one-click or step-by-step install. ## Online Store (theme blocks)

* [**Gift Card Postman**](/extensions/gift-card-postman-block.md) — the product-page block that adds "Is this a gift?", recipient, send date and message fields. Required while a Gift Card Postman campaign is active.
* [**Gift Card Balance Lookup**](/extensions/gift-card-balance-lookup.md) — a storefront form where customers check a gift card's remaining balance using the last 4 characters of the code.
* [**Gift Card Reward Banner** and **Store Credit Banner**](/extensions/reward-banners.md) — cart banners that show shoppers the reward they'll earn from your active rewards campaign.

## Checkout

Checkout blocks render on the information, shipping and payment steps, which Shopify makes available to **Shopify Plus** stores only. On other plans they are hidden from the Extensions page.
