Adjust balance

Add to, deduct from or set a gift card's balance from the gift card page in Shopify Admin.

Adjust balance is an admin action on every gift card page in Shopify Admin. It appears under More actions as soon as Gift Card Factory is installed — there is nothing to place.

Using it

1. Open a gift card in Shopify Admin (Products → Gift cards).

2. Choose Adjust balance under More actions.

3. Pick Add to balance, Deduct from balance or Set balance to, enter the amount and confirm. The new balance is previewed before you save.

Deductions cannot take a balance below zero, and changing the balance of a disabled card does not re-enable it.

The action needs an active plan or trial. If your trial has ended it shows a Plan required notice with a link to the plans page.
